Three-Layers Model of Pedestrian in 2D Complex Space

Abstract Walking is the basic way of human movement. How to model pedestrian in complex space a challenge. Various models such as social force and cellular automaton have been proposed. These can reproduce some macroscopic characteristics pedestrian, but are not very effective space. This paper proposes framework, including mental-planning-moving three layers. The mental layer depicts state pedestrians, selects movement mode, destination, speed. planning performs route determines sequence temporary target points. moving could embed realize physical framework introduce incomplete information uncertainty, which makes pedestrian’s decision-making probabilistic, trajectory has certain degree randomness. A simulation software developed, multiple experiments performed two-dimensional results show that describe realistically.
